You'll find Booth 41 aka Not Too Shabby! on the second floor at Yesterday's Treasures. We thought we'd take a look around the mall at some individual booths and explore what they have to offer. We decided to start with Booth #32's beautiful arrangement. Enjoy!
In May, Caroline and I visited my daughter and grandson in Louisiana. His name is Chandler, which means, "candle maker." So sticking with that theme, we wanted to show a few of the many candlesticks available here at Yesterday's Treasures. If you would like to read more about collecting candlesticks, check out this piece. We teased a few photos last week of some rather unique salt and pepper shakers. We will throw in a few more pictures today but I also wanted to include a link to a piece from Collector's Weekly on the topic. You can read it here. The spring sale is this weekend, Saturday April 30th and Sunday May 1st. The sale is an opportunity for our vendors to create a special discount for their wares. While participation isn't required, you will find widespread discounts throughout Yesterday's Treasures. These special sale prices are only for the weekend, so come on in and see what you can find. If you've had your eye on a particular item, this may be your chance to pick it up at a great price! We hope to see you soon!
Our traditional pick a project ideas usually mean restoring a quality piece to its former glory. But the other side of the coin is re-purposing. That simply means using a piece for something other than it was originally intended--usually after modifying it. For example, using old desk drawers to create shelves or a door to make a table and so on. At Yesterday's Treasures, we have plenty of materials for both types of projects. What ideas do you have? Come on in and get that imagination working. We'll see you soon!
Come on in and see what project ideas you can find! Here are a few examples to get you started! We are look forward to seeing you soon!
Don't worry, your favorite vendors and staff are still here and the mall itself isn't changing either. But we are updating the website. We will work hard to present a more consistent experience. Remember to check our Facebook page for mall updates and photos of newly arrived and unique items. Thanks for all your support and here's to another great year at Yesterday's Treasures!
